What Is the Podcast “Little Hands, Big Plans” All About?
Share
If you’re a mom who’s ever wondered whether it’s possible to raise children and build something meaningful outside the home—something that feels purposeful, flexible, and aligned with your values—then this is for you.
Maybe you are stuck working a 9-5 that leaves you feeling drained…
Maybe you are already an entrepreneur but feel like you never get a break from work…
Maybe you are a stay-at-home mom stressed about finances…
Little Hands, Big Plans, is a space for mothers who are embracing the slow mornings and chaos of family life while still dreaming big. This podcast was born from my own journey of navigating entrepreneurship and motherhood, and it’s inspired by the countless conversations I’ve had with women who are doing the same.
Why I Started “Little Hands, Big Plans”
As a lawyer, entrepreneur, and mother, I’ve spent the past few years reimagining what success can look like after kids. I discovered it doesn’t always look like a corner office or constant hustle. Instead, it can look like working part-time on a business you love, taking your kids to the park in the middle of a weekday, or simply feeling present in your life.
But getting there takes courage. And creativity. And community.
That’s where Little Hands, Big Plans comes in.
This podcast is designed to inspire, equip, and uplift moms who are rethinking work and life. Whether you’ve downshifted your career, launched a side business, are considering entrepreneurship, or just want more flexibility and freedom—we’re telling stories for you.
The Heart Behind the Podcast
Each episode features a real mom who has made an intentional shift in her career, business, or lifestyle after becoming a parent. Some have left corporate careers to start new ventures. Others have found innovative ways to structure their time, pursue passion projects, or homeschool their kids. Some are building slow and small on purpose. All of them are prioritizing their families without giving up on themselves.
The podcast is rooted in the belief that:
-
Family can be the center, not the obstacle.
-
Success doesn’t have to mean burnout.
-
Faith, freedom, and purpose are worth building around.
And yes, your kids are not a distraction from your work. As C.S. Lewis said, “They are the most important work.”
What to Expect from Season One
Season One includes conversations with inspiring women across different fields—from fitness and healthcare to education and business. Here’s a peek of some of the episodes we have on deck:
- How to become a Barre instructor and build a supportive mom village away from extended family.
- The leap of faith it takes to start a business, slow growth on purpose, and practical wellness tips for moms.
- Little launch series where we will brainstorm flexible, part-time business ideas.
- Leaving a corporate role to become a part-time executive assistant, deleting social media, moving across the country for family, and choosing classical homeschooling.
Each week we will share the real stories behind the “freedom shift” many modern moms are making.
Why This Podcast Matters (and Who It’s For)
There’s no shortage of content out there telling moms to do more, be more, or lean in harder. This isn’t that.
Little Hands, Big Plans is for the mom who wants to slow down and reimagine. For the woman who believes in God-sized dreams but is also up three times a night with a teething toddler. For the professional who wants to stay sharp, but not at the cost of her family’s rhythm.
Whether you’re a working mom, stay-at-home mom, part-time everything mom, or something in between—this podcast will meet you where you are and offer possibilities.
Why It’s Called “Little Hands, Big Plans”
The name came from a moment of reflection. My child’s tiny hands reaching for mine while I typed emails late at night reminded me: These little hands have big plans, too.
Motherhood isn’t a pause on your dreams—it’s often the reason you begin dreaming differently.
And that’s what this podcast is all about. We honor the season we’re in while still believing in what’s ahead.

Final Thoughts: You’re Not Alone in Wanting More
Launching this podcast has been a dream years in the making. It’s the kind of thing I wish existed when I was in the thick of trying to figure out how to be both present and purposeful.
The truth is, you don’t have to choose between motherhood and meaningful work. You get to design a life that honors both.
I hope this podcast gives you permission to pause, reflect, and imagine what your own dreams might look like.
